DH's sock number 1 into the toe decreases, Yahhhhh!

Missy Lace project 24 rows into the finish edge scallops. Then blocking, Yahhhhhh!

Off to Austin for 5 days this weekend. Can't wait. Lots of yarn shops to visit. It's our 8th anniversary so lots of DH time, too. I love that red head more than yarn. LOL. He's the best. Will also get to see my DD1 and SIL.

Another work week 1/2 over. Have completed 8 repeats of the Missy Lace project. Played a little canasta on line. Now for a shower and bed.
Dh finished two of our Estate Sale finds. Sanded and stained the top of this little table and a tong oil finish. Got it for $12.50. Top was scratched up and the legs were very loose. Now it's strong and beautiful!
This was a great find. One of the back legs was off, but not broken the glue had just come loose. The top was very scratched and there were some gouged out areas on the body and scratches. A little sanding, glue on the legs, and stain and tong oil finish. Voile'. Very expensive looking ($20.00) cedar chest for my bedding at the end of our master bed. Wow! Outstanding work DH!

My sweet youngest female Victoria "Tory".

We had our first stitching party Monday evening. I was able to finish the second tie of my dd1's side tie vest! Now just have to stitch them up add them to the vest, do a single crochet edge to the collar and the front, block it and it's done. The other girl finsihed a block of her baby blanket she's quilting. Don't know what happened to the others but maybe next week. I have finished two repeats of the Missy Lace KAL and it's looking great. I didn't work on it last night because of having to concentrate and can't talk and socialize working on it, LOL.

Thank You Secret Pal

I got my first package today. Wow so many goodies. The wool is so great! I was just talking to the knitting teacher at Michaels saying how I wanted to learn to felt a bag. Well now with the wonderful fiber AND the wonderful Clover Bamboo 10 1/2 circular needles AND the pattern for the sweet ballerina slippers, I have a great felting project. There is a little box that has 6 great stitch markers. You know you can never have enough of those, especially with the lace project we just started on the LSSK lace kal. Also wonderful homemade lotion bars, my hands are so grateful and my nose is so happy with the scent. UMMMMM. Thank you so much. What a wonderful surprise.

Happy June 1st.

Offical first day of Hurricane season. I pray we don't get it like last year, nor anyone else. Got the collar to the side tie vest done and the sides all seamed. Now have to do the ties and do a single crochet row around the edges and it will be ready for blocking. Whew. The Lace NAL pattern is printed and I have wound one ball of my yarn for this. Can't decide if I want to do the scarf or the shawl. Guess I need to see how much yardage I do have. I have another hank to wind, so I may go for the shawl. Or make two scarves for the DD's. I really wanted to get some painting on the house done last night. But DH had an opening for me at 4:15 for a massage and I had my regular client at 5:15 anyway. Sooooooo....... hummmm get a massage or paint?? Hard decision right? NOT. Anyway got my massage, worked on my client, went home, watered the flowers, and knitted until 10, LOL.
