Jaxson 5 Weeks Old

We went to Austin for the 4 Day Weekend. We went to several museums. our favorite shops on S. Congress, and the Wine Festival downtown at the Republic Square Park. It rained on us off and on but never more than a gentle rain or sprinkles until this am when we were leaving it was pouring down. But as we came through Dripping Springs it stopped and by the time we got to Blanco it was sunshine and we had sunshine all the way home. Now I think the storm has followed us home as we now have severe storm

warnings. LOL.

Of course the highlight of the trip. Getting to see DD1 & Jaxson! In all his glory at 5 weeks old. We went to breakfast when we got there and just sat and held him until 12:30 when we headed home. Whew. Very tired but we had a blast!

Mother's Day Weekend

I spent the weekend with DD's, DH, SIL and of course DGS! What a joy. It was the first time DD2 had gotten to see her first nephew.

We shopped till we dropped in Wimberely giving Jaxson his first taste of cruising the antique stores with Dado and Mimi, LOL. Here we are last night after an afternoon of shopping and eating at the Mexican food restaurant. We all were bushed. He did really well even if DH and I HAD to carry him most of the time. LOL.

Here we are at breakfast yesterday with Jaxson telling me all about what has happened in the last 2 weeks since I saw him last. He still has all his curly hair. Yippeee. Taking right after his Mimi and mommy.

Here is the LSSK Blanket to show how much he's grown in 3 weeks. Not much that I can tell he was 7lbs 5 oz at his doctor a week ago. His 0-3 month clothes are still too big. LOL.

Here's the first time DH (Dado) got to hold DGS. Jax cuddled right up and slept, LOL. DH never had children of his own so he is in heaven with my DD's and now a GS.

Remember my first sweater project? Here is Jaxson modeling it finally. DD didn't button it up all the way but it fit perfectly. Too bad he doesn't need it during a time it will still fit him. But he looks so cute in it.

Progress and Update

I have finished one sock of the Red, White and Blue. And yes I have casted on the second one. The bulk of my day was getting the video below to convert to a DVD. Finally successful I have made 5 for sharing with DD, SIL (and his family).
